Growing up, Erica was never exposed to firearms. After getting their CCW permits and taking several defensive pistol courses, she and her husband,Nathan, decided they wanted to try competitive shooting. They started in 2014 with USPSA and in 2015 shot their first multi-gun match.
While she still competes in local USPSA matches, most of her attention has been focused on multi-gun. She and Nathan have started traveling to major matches around the country and enjoy shooting all types of multi-gun matches. In 2017, Erica entered her first PRS matches and plans to continue that journey in 2018.
In addition to competing, Erica has a passion for helping new shooters enter the sport and teaching them to advance their shooting skills. She has assisted in several classes in addition to providing private instruction.

Nathan has been exposed to firearms his whole life, starting with hunting as a young man. It wasn't until 2014 that he started competitive shooting with his wife, Erica. After learning the fundamentals of competitive shooting in USPSA, they were introduced to multi-gun matches in 2015. Even though they shoot USPSA, CMP High Power, and are learning precision rifle, Nathan's passion is focused on multi-gun.
Nathan and Erica have been married for almost 10 years and truly enjoy competing together. Instead of typical "vacations at the beach", they prefer to travel to multi-gun matches around the country and catch up with their competitive shooting family.
Nathan is ranked as a Semi-Pro in the Practical Division of 3 Gun Nation and as an expert in the Factory Division. He finished the year ranked 59th out of all competitor across the nation!

Pat McCutcheon is a fierce competitor in the Practical division of 3 Gun Nation and is classified as an Expert. He also enjoys USPSA where he mainly shoots in the Limited division (he likes to dabble in Carry Optics and PCC too). He is a Marine Corp veteran and a devoted husband and father of two.
Pat began his competitive shooting antics in 2014 when he attended his first 3 gun, the USMC Combat Shooting Match. Since then Pat has actively competed along the East Coast and Midwest regions, participating in local and major 3 gun matches.
When Pat is off the range, he can usually be found in his basement staring down some dry-fire targets, playing with his kids or simply kicking his feet up and enjoying a cold draft beer.

Don has been an avid firearm collector and shooter most of his life. He started competing in the practical shooting sports in 2012 with USPSA and GSSF competitions. Don is now classified in the Production, Limited, and Carry Optics divisions for USPSA but mainly competes in the Open division.
He became a Range Officer for USPSA in 2012. Don also co-founded the USPSA club in 2013 that evolved to become our club at DSS (formerly North East Ohio Shooters) and will continue to be the Match Director for 2019 and the foreseeable future. You can usually find Don on the weekend shooting at DSS or one of the many clubs around the area…he has a great love for the sport and is a terrific ambassador.
Don enjoys working with new shooters and juniors. He is a Glock Certified Armorer, former competitive fisherman and excellent mechanic…ask to see his new “off-road” vehicle when you visit the range!

Garrett is our 2018 Dynamic Shooting Sports, LLC Junior Shooter Scholarship recipient and honorary Team DSS member. Garrett’s success in 2017 culminated with being the High Junior at 3 GN Nationals and winning the 3GN Junior Shoot-Off Championship. However, it is Garrett’s respect for others, his humility, and his willingness to help others that has earned him this scholarship. We are certainly proud of his shooting, but we are even prouder of the support that Garrett shows other new shooters and organizations that work with junior shooters.
Here is what Garrett has put together for his own bio:
"I am 16 years old and live in Sanford, NC with my mom, dad, brother and 2 dogs. I am home-schooled with my brother and in the 10th grade. Besides shooting, I am a 3rd degree, level 4 Black Belt in Taekwondo and have been training for 8 years. I recently became a certified Taekwondo instructor for our TKD school. I train and instruct for 4-6 hours a week. In my spare time, I like to research military history especially WWII. I enjoy researching historical firearms and the stories that come with them. I like the outdoors, camping, and hunting as well.
I have been shooting competitively for 3 years and currently shoot a Benelli M2, STI Edge 9mm and Radian Weapons AR-15. The shotgun is one of my favorite firearms. I dry fire every week loading shotgun and practice with SIRT and airsoft pistols around the house. I am currently the Junior shooter for Team Benelli. I want to be a positive role model while becoming the top rated Junior shooter and eventually earning a position at the AMU. This year I was able to work with a small group of junior shooters in our area and will continue to work with this group of junior shooters for the 2018 year."
If you would like keep up with Garrett's success in 2018, please follow him on Facebook or Instagram.
